We have our first baby lamb, found this morning at 9:00.
It's a boy. It IS a little early, usually we have lambs in February.

SO SORRY

I have been so busy!
We are moving so I have had little time to do anything but pack. With nine plus kids we have a ton of stuff. So I am going to try and post often, but we will see. Pray for us as we travel!

Leaving

Yesterday I didn't post because I was in school.
Tomorrow I will be in town and we don't have a computer there so I won't be able to post for awhile.

The curse pierced Francis' heart like a bolt of lighting. He had not expected anything like that.
"No! No! Don't curse me," he begged, twisting his hands.
"I curse you!" the father repeated several times more.
A crowd had formed. Women were crossing themselves. Francis turned pale.
"And every time you begin again, I curse you again- you cur!" shouted the father again, before he went into the inn.
Francis fled from the town along a short cut and then sat down sadly and pensively, holding his head in his hands. He had been cursed! That suddenly extinguished all the light in his heart. But what could he do about it?
The next day he knew what to do about it. When he got to the market with his little pail, he went to the fountain and spoke to a beggar who looked exactly like statues of Saint Peter: he had the same kind of circular beard and wisp of hair on his bald head. Beggars willingly help one another, so Berto went along with him as he bean to beg. Francis' father appeared, bursting with anger. When he was about to utter the curse, Francis kneeled down, and Berto blessed him.
Then Francis exclaimed: "while you curse me,another father blesses me-and that cancels out your curse!"



This week I found this book, The Perfect Joy of Saint Francis. It is an amazing book about Saint Francis. Francis was a normal rich boy in his time, loved hunting, drinking, gambling all that stuff. Then a war came to Assie(the town in which Francis lived), the peasants rebelled against the nobles. Francis and his friends were with the peasants. The peasants were slaughtered, and Francis was captured and taken to a prison in Peruja. There Francis underwent great suffering because he had found a Gospel and was found reading it. Francis was left for dead when his father,Pietro Bernadoni, found him and paid to bring him home. Francis lay close to death for many days. when he finally recovered, Francis was completely changed. The first thing he did was go down to his father shop and take all the money and give it to the poor, along with some of his Father's cloth (Pietro was a dye merchant).
When Pietro found out, he was furious! He had Francis arrested and tried before a bishop. The bishop told Francis to give back all he had taken, Francis respond by giving everything to his father, even his cloths! Then Francis told everyone he renounced his father, mother. And he spurned worldly things. He had taken a vow of holy poverty, he wanted to be poor among poor, an outcast, the least of men. After giving everything up, Francis had a dream. In this dream God summoned him to "rebuild my church".
Francis thought this meant to rebuild the church that was decaying out side the city.
So that's what he did. All of Francis' friends tried to persuaded him to come back. Francis was steadfast, instead they ended up joining him. Together with a few brothers Francis repaired the church of San Damiano(Saint Damien).

I wrote this for my school blog and liked it so much I wanted to post it on here!
It will be continued because this is defiantly not the end of Francis' life.

I am back!!

The title says it very well, because I am now back and have joined the non-sick population. Yes for the past few days I had the flu and a two earaches. Very painful I can assure you. But now I am back!

Yes I do, I love to grab a recipe follow it for a while then improves the rest.

What is your opinion on fantasy
Fantasy is wonderful , if only the author doesn't jump the boarders between a story that portrays good things to a story that prorates bad things. The Golden Compass is a good example of bad fantasy.

If you absolutely had to go to college, what would you want to major in?
Teaching or Literature.

Least Favorite subject in school?
MATH!!!!!!

Why I was away so long

Well for many reasons.
First of all because school started, Mom had us three oldest helping with books.
Then we butchered a calf and a pig, cooled them and cut and wrapped them.
And the best reason by far, well not actually a reason but some news, number 10 is on the way!

2:Why do you admire that character? All three for one reason, I like there willingness to die for someone or something.

Good News

Thank God! We just heard from my Dad, the doctors don't think she took enough to harm her. Praise God!

Prayers Please!

This morning my little sister might have swallowed some morphine. My parents are taking her to the hospital right now. She is just two years old. Please pray for her!

News

I just now had time to post, Grandpa took me my brother, Marianne, Ilse and my cousin Ashley camping. We got back Sunday. So that is why I haven't posted since the tenth.
The other news is my Aunt Danielle had a baby! My Grandparents 25th grandchild!
It is a girl! (sorry I don't have a picture at this time) She is 6lb and 2oz. A pretty good size for being a month early. We are so happy that they are healthy.

~A Broken Heart~

I love writing stories, although I mostly keep them to myself, so decided to put a part of one on here. To see what people thought, I let my sisters read them, but they aren't much help since they all agree they are wonderful.





Aaron gave a sigh, he knew he was going to hate it in Tarmin. Aaron was the only son of King Justin the X, this summer his Uncle requested that Aaron spend a fortnight with him. Aaron liked his Uncle Jessrel, he was just like Father, but things were so different in Tarmin, different customs different rules. But the main reason Aaron knew he was going to hate it here was because of his cousins Judien and Hannah Elizabeth. Judien was only three months younger than Aaron, but what he lacked in age and height he made up for in brutality and meanness. Hannah Elizabeth was twelve and half and was becoming just like her mother thinking only of parties and dresses, which disgusted Aaron. Without noticing it Aaron had been walking towards

the town arena, he stopped right in front off it. Peering into the immense structure Aaron noticed a figure practicing with a sword, curious Aaron decided to see who it was. It was a man, at least that is what Aaron thought it was, tall and slender wearing all white, he had deep intense blue eyes. Again without noticing, Aaron drew his own sword and held in his right hand. Then Clang,

Aaron found himself face to face with the white figure and he realized with a gasp he was really a she. He looked into to her eyes and seemed to see her soul, Aaron could great hurt and anger in her eyes and something else, something he couldn't describe. Pulling away he looked more closely at her, she was slender but strong to, stronger than any girl he knew, she was also proud he could tell that from the way she stood. Not the haughty tipe of proud that says ''I'm better than you are, but the proud she used to cover up something. Aaron knew that someone or something had hurt this girl, deeply. ''Who are you?'' she voice was like steel.

''My name is Aaron'' he stopped from mentioning that he Prince Aaron the III, he wanted to know this girl and he wanted her to know him as, well just Aaron not Prince.

She relaxed a little she moved away and looked at him critical. "And you what is your name?" Aaron asked.

"My name?" she got a lost far away look in her eyes "My name is Eirth"





I would love comments on this! Suggestions are most welcome. I don't really like the title so if anyone has suggestions on that I would love hear about it.

Logging party

Today we had allot of fun logging with the family. Uncle Johnny( one of my Grandpa's brothers) came up with Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Tammy(another brother and his wife), three of my older second cousins and my Great-Grandpa. They came at 7 this morning had breakfast and went to work on the 30 acre hill Grandpa has. Me, Marianne,Ilse and Frodo came up to help a little later. It is so funny to watch Grandpa and his brothers work together. Uncle Jimmy will be liming with Aunt Tammy then all of a sudden Uncle John comes running ''I got it! I got it!''.
He starts cutting an old stump and Uncle Jimmy looks up "watch out for the limbs John!" and pretends to throw the sticks at him. Another time they were cutting down a huge tree, they asked my Dad if anyone was coming, nobody was at that moment so down goes the tree followed by another smaller tree. Then comes Grandpa on the tractor shouting not about the two trees in his way but about his ''nice'' saplings that got squashed. ''Who did that!'' both Uncles point at Andy my cousins Lynsey's husband who is new at this. Uncle John and my cousin Zack probably went a hundred feet in the air to limb some gigantic trees. Even my Aunt Tammy had a chainsaw and was helping, Aunt Tammy is amazing, she can do anything a man can. We were up there from 7 till 1 in the afternoon. Grandpa is so happy that we got all that work done.

Painting

Today we painted our one room ( one room, a closet and a porch that is) house. Yes we are living in that and two campers. Well life is an adventure! Luckily we also live with my Grandparents, who have a huge house. We are used to living in small houses but not this small!
I know God has a plan for us so I'm not worried.

And I made it to the end,it was kind of hard to think of names for all. Thankfully I let the older ones chose theirs.

The farm

We are finally getting settled out here at my Grandparents farm. We have tons of work to do, weeding, taking care of our animals(7 goats, 20 or so chickens, 10 ducks, 22 I think, sheep, and 2 dogs) Wow I didn't realize we had that many animals! Even though we have so much work to do we have lots of fun.

Vacation

We have one more week of vacation left till Summer School! I can't wait, I love school. And my ballet will start then too! Right now we are getting ready for our garage sale. We will be moving out to our Grandpa's house. There we have haying and gardening to do, in our spare time us kids will go to play in our creek. We all love the farm, our Grandpa has thirty acres, part of it is woods. We will stay there till school starts in September.

My Amazing Sister

My baby sister Chiara(that is Italian for Clare) learns words amazingly fast. She knows Mama, Dada, doll, ball, Danielle, Papa, and today she said cat and blear which means bear. We think she will be saying whole sentences before she is 1!
